Highland's Crab Restaurant

"We came on a valentines day and the place was kind enough to accept walk-ins as other restos were strictly by reservation only. We ordered seafood boil solo, sisig, bulalo, chicken wings. The food was good, crab was fat, but the shrimp scallops and mussels were bland even with the sauce but it was ok overall. Its good also to know where the crabs are grown and know they are grown in a sanitary environment Classic bulalo - 8/10 Crispy sisig - 8/10 Chicken wings - 7/10 Seafood boil solo -8/10 The service was good and staff were courteous helpful and all smiling even though they are tired. They also have live band that night."

"Had a great lunch in this restaurant, the portions are good for at least 3-4 pax. We loved everything we ate here especially the bulalo and do not overlook the butchi, super tasty. I also love the interiors and the modern and squeky clean bathroom. Will definite come back and try other foods on the menu."

"Wow! Great food & great service. The quality of the food & the attention to detail is unmatched. They provided a free tasty APPETIZER. Our main meal (we had the crab boil) was prepared perfectly & the presentation at the tableside was super classy. They provide bibs, tools, etc so you don't get your clothes messy if you have the crab. My water was refilled without asking. The desert selection looked yummy (I was too full to indulge). I highly recommend Highland's Crab Restaurant."

"Highland's Crab delivers quality service and serves excellent dishes. The crabs are fat and fresh from their own farm, and were cooked into a delicious dish. We ordered the Buttered Garlic Crabs which is priced at P 2,600, 800g, good for 2-4 pax. It also comes with 2 fried mantou, corn, and potatoes. We also ordered chopsuey, which is also good. They also served us generously with complimentary appetizers: kropek, egg drop soup, cheese buchi, coffee, and tea. Just a heads up, there will be around 30-40 minutes waiting time as they would just cook upon ordering, but that was not a problem because the staff toured us into their crab farm. Also, as mentioned earlier, they served a lot of complimentary snacks which made the waiting more bearable. Definitely recommended! They will be opening a branch along the highway (on the way to Twin Lakes) so watch out for their new location"

"We were lucky enough to have lunch here on Sunday with no reservation. Excellent service and fantastic, sweet and juicy crabs! There's complementary kropek, soup of the day, and buchi, unli tea and coffee, and they also offer a tour of their crab fattening farm after your meal. My husband and I paid around ₱2800 for an order of salted egg crabs, two servings of rice, and an iced tea. The huge crabs plus all the freebies and the high quality of food made it super worth it!"

"Just did an occular and compared to the other crab place nearby this is my kind of crabby place . . . also visited their farm along Alfonso roadway and its neat and well maintained ensuring the best ever crabs you can have . . . Although they are mudcrabs, they are fattened and raised in clean running water in each of their dedicated enclosures in the farm facility . . . Your chance to enjoy your mud crabs without the muddy after taste they usually come with"
